Explosion wounds citizen, causes material damages to Emirates Airlines in central Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Nov. 1 (YPA) –  A civilian was injured when a homemade explosive device exploded at Al-Shorouk intersection in Al-Karrada district in the capital, Baghdad, the Security Media Cell reported.

The Cell stated in a statement that the accident also caused material damage to the Emirates Airlines office, which is located near the intersection.

A security source announced earlier that a civilian was injured when an explosive device exploded near a store selling alcoholic drinks in Karrada in central Baghdad.
