5 captives of army liberated in new swap in Marib

MARIB, Oct. 31 (YPA) – Head of the National Committee for Prisoners Affairs in Sanaa Abdulqader Al-Mortada announced on Saturday the success of a new prisoner exchange with the other party (Saudi-led coalition) in Marib province.

“The Prisoners Committee managed, on Saturday, to liberate five captives of the army and the popular committees in an exchange deal on Marib front,” Al-Mortada said in his account on Twitter.

The exchange process was carried out through local mediation, he added.

This is the first exchange after the last prisoner exchange deal supervised by the United Nations in the middle of this month, in which hundreds of captives from both sides were released, including Saudi and Sudanese soldiers.
