Sport Minister’s assassination is open attempt by aggression: Official

SANAA, Oct. 27 (YPA) – Spokesman of the Interior Ministry, Brigadier General, Abdul Khaleq Al-Ajri, said that the assassination of Sport Minister Hasan Zaid came as an open attempt by the Saudi-led aggression coalition forces.

The spokesman affirmed in a statement that the operation is a part of the aggression’s plots to draw a different picture of the reality of the security situation in the capital, Sanaa and to disturb the Yemeni people’s celebrations of the Prophet’s birthday.

“As the security services were able to arrest the elements that carried out the previous assassinations and crimes, they also would seize control the criminal elements that carried out the assassination of the Minister of Youth and Sports,”Al-Ajri added.
