SANAA, Oct. 26 (YPA) – A mosque in Sydney, Australia, on Sunday was attacked by an unknown person.
According to Anadolu agency’s reporter, a man who allegedly destroyed windows and antique chandeliers at the Auburn Gallipoli Mosque, which is belonging to the Turkish Religious Affairs Authority in Sydney.
The man allegedly used a fire hydrant and a vacuum cleaner to smash items, including handmade antique chandeliers and 13 large windows, causing an estimated $100,000 of damage, he explained.
He noted that the police arrested the attacker without revealing his identity and motives.
