Update: New drone attack targets Saudi Abha airport

SANAA, Oct. 25 (YPA) – The Yemeni army spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sarei, on Sunday evening announced about a second attack against Saudi Abha airport within hours.

Brig. Gen. Sarei confirmed that the air force launched a new attack on Abha International Airport with a drone of ‘Samad 3’ type, targeting a sensitive target inside the airport.

This came hours after targeting of Kind Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait area in the depth of Saudi territories with two drones of “Qasef 2k” type.

The spokesman confirmed that the drone attacks accurately hit the aircraft hangars at the base, saying that “this targeting comes in response to the enemy’s air escalation and its continued siege on the Yemeni people.”

On Saturday, the army’s air force targeted Jizan and Abha airports and Khamis Mushait base with three attacks by three drones of the Qasef 2k type.
