US records highest daily toll of Coronavirus infections

SANAA, Oct. 24 (YPA) – The US has reported 83,010 new coronavirus  cases, the highest daily toll since the pandemic began, Reuters reported.

The previous figure on July 17 was 76,842.

Officially released figures show that the country’s epidemiological curve is moving upwards, with record Thursday reaching 76,195 infections and 916 deaths

The number of deaths from Covid-19 increased by 13% compared to last week, with an average of 785 cases per day over the last seven days.

The United States ranks first in the world in terms of coronavirus infections and deaths.

A total of 8,733,574 infections were recorded, with a total of 229,139 deaths.
