US Navy fighter crashes in California

SANAA, Oct. 21 (YPA) – A US Navy F-18 fighter crashed in California while on a training sortie.
According to “Sputnik”, the Naval Base Lemur reported on its Facebook page that a US Navy F / A-18E Super Hornet fighter crashed in California on Tuesday, and the pilot managed to escape.

“The F / A-18E Super Hornet, stationed at Lemur Naval Base, made a botched maneuver during a training flight over the Superior Valley training field south of the China Lake test station,” the Al Qaeda press service statement said.

“The pilot shot himself safely and was sent to a local medical facility for examination,” the report said.
