More than million cases of corona reported in Argentina

SANAA, Oct. 20 (YPA) –  Argentine Ministry of Health on Tuesday announced that the death toll from the new Corona virus in the country has exceeded the one million mark.
The ministry said in a statement: “On Tuesday*, 12,982 new cases of Coronavirus were registered, with the total number of cases reaching 1002,662, of which 803,965 recovered patients.”
The statement indicated, “451 new deaths were recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total deaths to 26,716 people.”
Argentina ranks fifth in terms of the number of injuries, and deaths represent 3% of the number of injuries, according to Johns Hopkins University.
Russia is preceded by Russia in fourth place in terms of the number of injuries with about one million and 400 thousand injuries and more than 24 thousand deaths, while Brazil comes in third place with more than 5 million and 235 thousand injuries, and in terms of the number of deaths, Brazil comes second with nearly 154 thousand deaths. .
The United States ranks first in terms of the number of injuries, with 8 million, more than 208,000 injuries, and more than 220,000 deaths.
It is followed by India with more than 7 million 550 thousand injuries, and more than 114 thousand deaths.
