One killed, another injured in clashes between STC’s factions in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 19 (YPA) – A person was killed and another was wounded on Monday in armed clashes between militia factions of the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen.

Local sources reported that the clashes, in which various types of light and medium weapons were used, erupted between members of the STC militia from Al-Shabab and Al-Kabsa neighborhoods in Al-Mualla area, near Aden port.

The sources explained that a quarrel broke out between two of the armed militiamen, which developed into armed clashes, after the arrival of other gunmen to support the two parties, amid tensions in the area.
