Hamas: Normalization encouraged the Israeli enemy for new settlement

SANAA, Oct. 17 (YPA) -Hamas spokesman Hazim Qasim said that Arab normalization agreements with the enemy encouraged the occupation’s approval of the construction of settlement units in the West Bank.

“We have repeatedly warned against normalization agreements that encourage Israeli occupation to commit more crimes against the Palestinian people,” Qasim added.

“The decision of the occupation is a continuation of the aggression against the Palestinian people, which takes various forms, and settlement is one of the forms of continuous aggression on the Palestinian land and the Palestinian people,” he said.

He noted that Israeli settlement confirms that expansionist ambitions and settlement are behavior inherited by the occupation and reflects the unprecedented state of boasting that prime minister Netanyahu is moving after the signing of normalization agreements.

“The increase in the pace of settlement is a result of political and media discourse from some Arab parties trying to clear the occupation and criminalize the Palestinians in order to justify their normalization,” the spokesman concluded .
