Health Ministry calls on its teams to treat released prisoners

SANAA, Oct. 15 (YPA) – Spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Youssef Al-Hadhari, said that the ministry mobilized its staff and medical capabilities to treat the released prisoners of the Yemeni army.

Al-Hadhari said in a statement that 14 medical teams have been prepared, each of which includes a “general practitioner, dermatologist, laboratory, pharmacist and nurse,” to be sure those released are a good health during their arrival at Sanaa Airport, as well as providing security and health protection means for the released.

He stressed that the medical team would begin after the popular reception by subjecting the freedmen to a comprehensive medical examination through specialists in cardiovascular, internal, orthopedics, brain and nerves, dermatology, eyes, nose, ear and throat and psychology in the capital, Sanaa.

The spokesman affirmed that the team would carry out medical checks for the released before sending some of them to their governorates, calling on the health offices in the provinces to provide full care and health services for any case of the released prisoners.
