5 civilians injured in armed clashes in Shabwa

SHABWA, Oct. 13 (YPA) – At least five citizens were seriously injured due to clashes took place between armed groups affiliated with Islah Party loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Shabwa province, east of Yemen.

According to local sources, the clashes broke out between the so-called “special forces” and the police and road security forces against the backdrop of a sharp dispute over the transfer of a qat market in Ataq city, the provincial capital.

The city of Ataq has witnessed, during the recent period, sharp disputes between the Islah leaders, who seek to achieve profits for their own accounts.
