Emirati ship unloads suspicious cargo at port of Socotra

SOCOTRA, Oct.11 (YPA) – A ship belonging to the UAE unloaded its cargo on Sunday t the port of Socotra Archipelago province, southern Yemen.

An informed source in the port said that commander of the so-called “Saudi duty forces 808” directed that the Emirati ship to be berthed in the port and unloaded suspicious materials it was carrying to avoid the military build-up being prepared for on the island by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias.

The source added that the ship was likely carrying modern military equipment and devices, referring that the STC militia had announced holding a sit-in in front of the headquarters of the Saudi forces.

This UAE ship is the second to unload suspicious cargo, within less than a month, at the port of Socotra.
