Five Killed in two plane crashes in France

SANAA, Oct. 11 (YPA) – At least five people were killed on Saturday when a plane carrying tourists collided with a small microlight in western France, local authorities said.

The small microlight carrying two people collided with a DA40 tourist plane with three people onboard around 4:30pm (1430 GMT) in Loches in the Indre-et-Loire department, local government official Nadia Seghier told AFP.

All five passengers were killed in the incident, according to the same source, and over  50 firefighters were called out while 30 gendarmes set up road detours around the crash sites.
