Coalition warplane launches strike on Hajjah

HAJJAH, May 18 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition on Friday launched an airstrike on Hajjah province, Ansar Allah Media Center reported.

The airstrike was waged on Abs district, the center added.

Last month, the combat jets waged a series of air strikes on the wedding celebration in Bani Qais area of the same district, killing 35 civilians and wounding 55 others, including 30 children.

The four-year-old war of Saudi-led coalition on Yemen has killed over 10,000 Yemenis, mostly women and children, displaced more than 3 million, according to the United Nations.
