Coronavirus infections rise to 6.6 million in India

SANAA, Oct. 5 (YPA) –  Indian Ministry of Health on Monday announced that 75,000 new cases of Coronavirus and more than 900 deaths were recorded during the past 24 hours.
Thus, the number of Coronavirus infections in India has risen to 6.6 million since the outbreak began.
The virus has claimed 102,685 lives in India so far, according to official figures.
India is considered one of the countries most affected by the outbreak of the epidemic, as it ranks second, after the United States, in terms of the number of infections, and third in the world in terms of the number of deaths.
