Military commander loyal to coalition killed in Jawf

JAWF, May 18 (YPA) – A military commander in the first brigade of border guards loyal to Saudi-led coalition was killed in clashes with the Yemeni army in Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Friday.

Ibrahim Hassan Haridan, Chief of operations at the brigade, along with several of his companions were killed during an offensive carried out by the army fighters against the coalition-backed militants’ positions in al-Yatama front.

The militants suffered heavy losses in life and gear during the confrontations, according to the official.
