HODEIDAH, Oct. 1 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s mercenaries launched on Thursday a military escalation on Durayhmi district in Hodeidah province, a source told Yemen Press Agency.
The source affirmed that coalition’s mercenaries carried out an infiltration attempt in east of the city, coincided with an artillery and missile bombing.
Coalition’s troops targeted citizens’ homes and property by over 200 artillery shells and by heavy and medium machine guns, the source confirmed.
Separate villages in Durayhmi district were bombarded by Katyusha rockets and artillery shells, the source added.
Previously, six homes of civilians were burnt due to coalition’s shelling by artillery, heavy and medium machine guns in the same district.
