Rocket attack targets American base in Erbil

SANAA, Oct. 1 (YPA) – Iraqi Kurdish media reported that a missile attack on Wednesday targeted the American Harir base in Erbil, where violent explosions were heard from inside the base.
The media said that a number of missiles landed near the headquarters of the so-called international coalition in the “Korda Jal” area, noting that “the coalition does not yet know the type of attack or the exact number of missiles.”

The media explained, “The coalition leadership asked the associates at the headquarters to protect themselves.”

This has not issued any statement or clarification from the official authorities, so far.

In turn, Erbil Airport management indicated that no accident occurred inside the airport, and conditions at the airport are normal.
