Fierce clashes renew among Islah, STC militias in Abyan

ABYAN, Sept. 30 (YPA) – Fierce clashes renewed on Wednesday among UAE-backed southern transitional council (STC)’s militias and Islah party’s militiamen in Abyan province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources affirmed that the clashes erupted in several fronts among Shaqra and Zunjbar cities.

The southern transitional militants launched a violent attack against Islah sites in Shaqra front, the sources confirmed.

The sources pointed out that the attack coincided with an artillery bombing using various weapons.
