Supreme Political Council offers condolences on passing of Emir of Kuwait

SANAA, Sept. 29 (YPA) – The Supreme political Council has offered its condolences on Tuesday to Kuwait, after the death of its ruling Emir, Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah.

We have received with great sadness and sorrow the news of the death of His Highness Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, the council said in a statement.

The Supreme Political Council, on behalf of the people of the Republic of Yemen express our deepest condolences and sympathy to the brotherly Kuwaiti people.

We will not forget the deceased’s interest in peace in Yemen and his sponsorship of Kuwait’s first and second consultations, the statement read.
