Israeli settlers continue to demonstrate against Netanyahu

SANAA, Sept. 27 (YPA) – Hundreds of Israeli settlers demonstrated, on Saturday evening, in front of the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the city of al-Quds, despite the comprehensive closure that took effect on Friday; Because of the repercussions of the Corona virus.

The Hebrew “Kan” channel reported that “dozens of settlers went to Netanyahu’s headquarters to demand his resignation, due to an indictment against him of corruption cases and his mismanagement of the Corona crisis.”

pointed out that the demonstration took place “despite the restrictions imposed on traffic that came into effect on Friday.”

The channel pointed out that “skirmishes” took place between opponents and supporters of Netanyahu near his residence.

According to Hebrew media, including the private Channel 12, the opposition and the demonstrators accuse Netanyahu of imposing a comprehensive closure in order to prevent the organization of demonstrations against him.

For months, thousands of “Israelis” have been demonstrating weekly against Netanyahu and his government, as part of what they described as “mismanaging the Corona crisis,” which resulted in increased unemployment and high poverty rates.
