PM praises scholars’ role in confronting aggression, promoting cohesion

SANAA, Sep. 24 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Wednesday praised the great and important role of the honorable scholars in confronting aggression, promoting social and national cohesion and countering destructive ideas that offend the essence of the true Islamic religion.

This came during the Prime Minister’s meeting in Sanaa with Mufti of Taiz province, the scholar Sahl bin Aqeel.

The meeting dealt with a number of topics and issues related to the current period, foremost of which are the valuable efforts of scholars and the great importance of their preaching discourse that expresses the high values and principles of the Islamic religion.
