Health minister calls on the UN to allow access of medicines, food in Yemen

SANAA, May 17 (YPA) – Minister of Public Health and Population Taha Al-Mutawakil, renewed on Thursday the call for the UN and international organizations to make pressures to stop war and lift the blockade imposed by coalition on Yemen and allow the entry of medicines and food.
This came during his inspection visit to a Maternity and Childhood Hospital in the capital Sanaa to review the level of health services provided to children in pediatric emergency departments, malnutrition center and incubators.

Al-Mutawakel held the coalition countries full responsible for the deterioration of maternal and child health services and the suffering of children due to diseases of malnutrition.
