Army repels attack of coalition’s mercenaries in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Sept. 21 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees repelled on Monday an infiltration attempt of US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition’s mercenaries in Hays district of Hodeidah province, a military source told Yemen Press Agency.

The source declared that coalition’s forces continued violating the ceasefire agreement in Hodeidah province, when they attempted to advance toward al-Shaab village of Hays district.

The source pointed out that the infiltration attempt coincided with an artillery bombing by 30 shells.

The source confirmed that the army’s troops were able to foil the attack, inflicting the enemies heavy losses in lives.
