Police seize 6,724,000 riyals of illegal currency in Bayda, Taiz
SANAA, Sep. 17 (YPA) – The police forces branch in Bayda city on Thursday arrested a person, 30, and in his possession an amount estimated at 3,360,000 riyals of illegal currency, printed by Saudi-led coalition countries with the aim of harming the national economy.
A car’s driver was also seized by the police in one of the checkpoints in the city of Bayda with 1,346,000 riyals of the illegal currency in his possession.
In Taiz province, the police forces branch captured called a person driving a pick-up car and found an amount of two million riyals of illegal currency in his possession.
