Saudi-led aggression launches 14 airstrikes on Sanaa airport, capital outskirts

SANAA, Sept. 13 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes on Sunday launched a series of airstrikes targeting several outskirts areas in capital, and Sanaa airport, a security source said.

During the past hour, the coalition warplanes launched 14 raids on the capital, Sanaa, and Arhab and Sanhan districts of Sanaa province.

The source said: “The coalition air forces launched 5 raids around Sanaa International Airport, and two raids on the maintenance corps camp in the Al-Nahda neighborhood in Al-Thawra District, north of the capital, Sana’a.”

The source added: “The coalition air forces also launched four raids on Al-Sama area in Arhab district of Sana’a province, targeting the bombed camps with hundreds of strikes since 2015.”

The source continued: “The coalition’s air strikes on the capital, Sanaa, and its environs, included three raids on Haziz area in Sanhan district of Sanaa province, targeting camps that it had previously bombed.”

The Saudi-Emirati war alliance resumed its raids on the capital, Sanaa, and its environs at dawn on Saturday, by launching six raids on the Military Engineering Department in Sawan neighborhood of Shoub District.

Also, the coalition warplanes launched a raid, at dawn on Saturday, on a citizen’s farm in Saraf neighborhood in the Bani Hasheesh district, Sanaa province, claiming to target stores of missiles and drones.”

The raids of the Saudi-Emirati coalition air forces on the capital, Sanaa, and its suburbs coincide with the resumption of the army and the popular committees’ operations to deter the coalition with attacks on the Saudi depth.
