Protest rally in Taiz condemns economic deterioration in province

TAIZ, Sep. 12 (YPA) – Dozens of sons of Hadi government-held city of Taiz organized on Saturday a protest rally to denounce the deterioration of economy and the local currency.

At the rally, the protesters blamed the Hadi government about the deteriorating living situation in the city.

The participants raised banners calling for ending to the deterioration and declining local riyal against foreign currencies, in additional to urgent solutions to reduce rising in the prices of goods and services.

The areas of Taiz under the control of the coalition has experienced an unprecedented economic deterioration and a significant increase in the prices of goods and services.
