Clear to cloudy weather with chance of rains expected within 24 hours

SANAA, Sep. 12 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology has expected that weather would be clear to cloudy, with a chance of rains in most provinces of Yemen within the next 24 hours.

The center affirmed that the weather in the mountainous highlands to be clear to partly cloudy on the mountain heights and inland plateaus, with a chance of forming cumulus clouds with light rains on the western, southern highlands and coastal areas.

It stated that the winds to be moderate in speed and active sometimes on the southern coasts, reaching a maximum speed of 20 knots on those areas and desert areas.

Additionally, the weather of Socotra Archipelago might be partly cloudy with strong monsoons winds, with speeds ranging from 15 to 30 knots.

The center called on citizens and drivers to take the necessary precautions from rock-slides and mud slides a decrease in horizontal visibility, especially on mountainous roads.
