NCM expects uneven rains over 24 hours

SANAA, Sep. 11 (YPA) – The National Center Meteorology has expected more uneven rains, accompanied by thunderstorms on the most Yemeni provinces within the next 24 hours.

The center said in its weather forecast that the rains would fall on separate areas of the Western Highland Range from Saada in the north to Taiz and Lahj in the south, in addition to the southern and western coasts.

The center expected also strong monsoon winds would be continued around the Socotra Archipelago, which might cause high waves of sea.

The NCM warned citizens to stay away water gatherings and torrential floods as a result of rain heavy, calling to take the necessary precautions from rock landslides and mud slides, especially on mountain roads.
