Saudi army inflicted heavy losses in Najran

NAJRAN, Sept. 9 (YPA) – The Saudi army inflicted on Wednesday heavy losses in lives and equipment during military operations carried out by the Yemeni army in Najran border province over the past hours, a source in the medially center of northern fronts told Yemen Press Agency.

The Yemeni army and popular committees confronted with coalition’s troops in various fronts, killing, wounding dozens of the mercenaries and destroying several military vehicles.

The source affirmed that the engineering unit of the army was able to destroy three military vehicles and kill all their crews in ambushes in al-Boqaa and al-Ajashir areas.

The source confirmed that army’s units launched an offensive at military sites in Biqaa area, killing and injuring several of the mercenaries, while the sniping unit shot dead two soldiers in the same front.

The army also was able to repel an infiltration attempt of coalition’s mercenaries in al-Rabaah area, leaving heavy casualties in their ranks.
