HADRAMOUT, Sept. 8 (YPA) -All exchange shops closed on Tuesday their doors and suspended all banking transactions in Hadramout province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The sources confirmed that closing of exchange shops came after military pick-up vehicles of the so-called First Military Zone raided all exchange shops, attacked their workers and closed them by force without any orders.
A meeting of cashiers, held on Monday evening, approved the suspension of banking work, starting from Tuesday morning.
On Monday, military pick-up vehicles stormed the exchange shops in Sayaoun city, forcing them to close and they expelled all employees by force of arms.
