STC militias launch military attacks on Islah militants in Abyan

ABYAN, Sept. 5 (YPA) – The UAE-backed southern transitional council militias launched on Saturday military attacks on Islah party’s militias sites in Abyan province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources mentioned that the southern militiamen attacked Islah militants and forced them to withdraw in Shaqra front.

According to the sources, Islah militants established new military fortifications beside the city.

The southern militiamen inflicted Islah militants heavy casualties and destroyed several military vehicles belonging to them in Shaqra and Taria fronts.
