Islah militias kidnap leader in STC in Shabwa

SHABWA, Sept. 3 (YPA) – Islah party’s militias kidnapped on Thursday a leader in the UAE-backed southern transitional council in Shabwa province, a source told Yemen Press Agency.

The source confirmed that Islah militants kidnapped Nasser Bamizaab and his guards in al-Hajr checkpoint of Nissab district, when he was going to participate in a protest of the council in Saaid district.

Other sources said that Islah militiamen also shot at Yashbam tribes cortege in the protest rally which the southern council called on to organize it.
