Biden confirms he is with 2-state solution, rejects Israeli annexation plans

SANAA, Aug 30 (YPA) – The Palestinian News Agency quoted the Democratic candidate for the US presidency, Joe Biden, as asserting that he is with the two-state solution, and rejecting the intentions of the Israeli occupation to annex Palestinian lands.
The Palestinian Agency said that Biden pledged in a document issued on Saturday to resume diplomatic relations and financial support to the Palestinian Authority, and to return financial aid to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).
“I do not support annexation,” Biden was quoted by The Hill last May as saying at an event for Jewish Democrats, adding, “In fact, I will reflect Trump’s undermining of the peace process.”
During the event, he called on Israel to “stop the threats to annex lands and settlement activity, because they will stifle any hope for peace.”
