Health Minister affirms enhancing efforts to support Cancer Fund

SANAA, Aug. 29 (YPA) – Minister of Health, Taha Al-Mutawakel, stressed on Saturday the impotence of enhancing efforts and keenness support and address the difficulties that faced by the Cancer Control Fund.

The move came during his meeting with several officials of the Cancer Control Fund to discuss the situation of the fund.

The minister indicated to the importance of the Fund’s role in reducing the financial burdens on cancer patients and providing them with the necessary care.

Al-Mutawakel was briefed on the functioning of the Fund and the conditions of cancer patients, the services provided to them, in additional to the provision of the necessary medical care.
