SANAA, Aug 29 (YPA) – A military source in Damascus announced that a number of Syrian army members were killed and wounded on Friday evening, after an explosive device exploded in a military bus in the eastern countryside of Homs.
According to the source, the bus was carrying soldiers on the road to Hamima, the third station, towards Palmyra in the eastern countryside of Homs.
The bombing killed four Syrian soldiers and wounded eight others, were treated at Palmyra Hospital, and then transferred to the Military Hospital in Homs.
The Syrian desert has witnessed tensions in recent days, as violent clashes erupted last week between members of the Syrian army and militants affiliated with the terrorist organization “ISIS” in the Rusafa area in Raqqa countryside during the passage of an army patrol in the area.
