Meteorology Center warns citizens of heavy rains within next 24 hours

SANAA, Aug. 27 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology renewed its warning to citizens against floods in water gatherings and valleys as result of heavy rainfall within the next 24 hours.

The center expected in its weather forecast, Thursday, an unstable weather, accompanied by uneven rain with thunderstorms over large areas of the mountainous heights.

It also expected moderate to heavy rains on the southern and western coasts, adjacent inland areas and parts of the desert areas.

The center indicated that severe monsoon winds would continue on the east of the Gulf of Aden and the archipelago of Socotra.
