SANAA, Aug. 21 (YPA) – On Thursday evening, Israeli occupation warplanes launched air strikes on the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources said that enemy aircraft targeted a Palestinian resistance position in the southern Gaza Strip with a number of rockets, adding that enemy renewed targeting the resistance position west of the town of Khan Younis.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation spokesman said: “Recently, two launches were identified from the Gaza Strip, and rockets landed in the border fence area.”
Later, he added, “The army attacked Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip by warplanes, targeting a concrete production site used to build underground infrastructure and Tunnels for Hamas.”
“The attack was in response to the explosion of incendiary balloons from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory during the day,” he said.
