Military reinforcements arrived at Taiz

TAIZ, Aug. 20 (YPA) – Military reinforcements from the “35th Brigade backed by the UAE arrived on Thursday at al-Maafair area, southwest of Taiz, sources said.

The sources affirmed that the reinforcements came to lift the siege imposed by the Saudi-backed the Islah militants on the head of operations, Major General Abdul Hakim al-Jabzi.

According to the sources, three militants of “Fourth Brigade belonging to the Islah were killed during the attack the positions in Jabal Yamain in Al-Shamayatayn district in the same province.

Additionally, Al-Islah’s artillery bombed al-Jabziye villages of al-Maafair area, injuring al-Jabzi’s wife, the head of operations of the “35th Brigade.
