Yemeni army opens new front in Marib

MARIB, Aug. 19 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces and the popular committees launched at dawn Wednesday a large-scale military attack targeting the sites of Saudi-led coalition forces in Rahba district of Marib province.

Local sources in the province said that the Yemeni army forces and the popular committees have been fighting fierce battles since Tuesday evening against the coalition forces on the outskirts of Rahba district in Marib.

The army forces and popular committees managed this morning to clear Wadi al-Lab village in Wadi Asha area, one of the areas of Rahba district overlooking Mahliya district and Qayfa district of the neighboring Bayda province, the sources added.
