Islah militants controls strategic military site in Taiz

TAIZ, Aug. 19 (YPA) – Islah Party’s militants on Wednesday took control of Yamin Mountain site of the so-called “35th Brigade” in Azaez area of al-Shamayatin district in Taiz province, southwest Yemen, local sources reported.

This came after violent clashes with various light and medium weapons between the brigade personnel and the Islah militants in the district, according to the sources.

On the other hand, the Islah militants attacked the site of Bayhan Mountain in al-Turbah city, which is under the control of the “35th Brigade”, after they had taken control of the Yamin Mountain.
