Israeli occupation forces arrest 11 Palestinians

SANAA, Aug. 18 (YPA) – The Israeli army has arrested 11 Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including the mother and brother of the Martyr of al-Quds in the Old City.

Palestinian sources said that enemy forces arrested, at Container Checkpoint east of Occupied Al-Quds (Jerusalem), the mother of martyr Ashraf Hassan Atallah Halsa, 30, from the eastern town of Sawahra, who was martyred on Monday evening at one of the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The enemy forces also arrested the two brothers, Al-Hadd Halsa, while they were with their mother at the same checkpoint.

Enemy forces fired at Ashraf Halsa, near Bab Hatta in the Old City of Occupied al-Quds, and left him bleeding until he rose to a martyr after stabbing a Zionist soldier.

Enemy forces also arrested two young men from the vicinity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Clashes broke out between youths and enemy forces at the Shuafat refugee camp in the northeast of occupied Jerusalem.

In Nablus, enemy soldiers arrested a young man from his relatives’ house in the village of Burin, south of Nablus, after smashing the entrance to the house and its contents and tampering with it.

The enemy authorities have tightened the Hawara checkpoint in the search procedures for vehicles entering and leaving Nablus.

In Qalqilya, enemy forces arrested a young man as he crossed a military checkpoint near the village of Nabi Elias, east of the city.

In Bethlehem, two young men, one from Aida camp and the other from Al-Azza camp, in the north, were arrested by enemy forces after raiding and searching their families’ homes.

In Jenin, two young men were arrested by enemy forces after raiding and searching the homes of their relatives in the village of Zububa, west of the city.

The Zionist enemy forces continue raids and arrests on a daily basis against citizens, which are concentrated at night, interspersed with raids, searches and vandalism in the homes of citizens and the terror of children, women and the population.
