SOCOTRA, May 15 (YPA) – The Saudi ambassador to Aden Mohammed al-Jaber arrived in Socotra on Monday, hours after the departure of Ahmed bin Daghr, the so called prime minister of coalition-backed authorities in Ade, Ahmed Obeid bin Dagher, officials familiar with the issue told Yemen Press Agency.

The Saudi ambassador arrived at Socotra airport in Hadebo city, after bin Dagher announced the end of the island crisis with the UAE.

Saudi media reported that the King Salman Center sent two relief planes loaded with foodstuffs, medicines and medical equipment to Socotra on Monday in an event that many activists remember how the UAE entered Socotra and occupied it under the charity banner.
