Corona virus.. Disaster awaits US as winter begins

SANAA, Aug. 17 (YPA) – On Sunday, the United States reached a “terrifying” record for corona virus death toll.
According to a Reuters tally, the number of death cases in the United States reached 170,000 before the winter flu season.

Deaths rose by 483 on Sunday, with Florida, Texas and Louisiana reporting a rise in death tolls.

There are 5.4 million confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the United States, the highest level in the world.

Public health officials and authorities are concerned that cases may increase amid the onset of the flu season, which is likely to exacerbate efforts to treat the coronavirus.

CDC Director Robert Redfield warned that the United States could suffer the “worst slide” if citizens do not follow health principles and maintain social spacing.

Months after the epidemic began, the US economy continues to stagnate as a result of the outbreak, with some hot spots slowing down the economy’s reopening and others closing down businesses.

The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation expects to increase cases of Covid-19 in the coming months, leading to about 300,000 deaths by December (early winter) and a 75% increase in hospital intake.

Worldwide, there are at least 21.5 million cases of coronary virus infection and more than 765,000 confirmed deaths.The United States continues to top the global rankings, accounting for about a quarter of infections and deaths.
