STC militias take arbitrary measures against travelers in Aden

ADEN, Aug. 16 (YPA) – Drivers of transport vehicles on the road linking between Aden city and the southern provinces complained on Sunday of abuses being practiced by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias against them.

The drivers explained that that the STC militias stop them and ask the travelers to get off under the pretext that they belong to the northern provinces.

The STC militias at Al-Alam point, which is the eastern entrance to Aden, took arbitrary measures against travelers from the northern governorates during the past few days, according to local sources,

The southern provinces have been witnessing a state of chaos and randomness, in light of the conflict of the armed factions loyal to Saudi-led coalition controlling those provinces.
