Training course on dealing with cluster bombs launched in Jawf

JAWF, Aug. 16 (YPA) – – An awareness and training course on dealing with the dangers of mines and cluster bombs was launched on Sunday in Jawf province.

The five-day old course, including 20 female and male trainers, provided the participants information and skills to deal with remnants of the mines and cluster bombs, as well as the spread of awareness among citizens.

The participants called on the United Nations Development Program to allow the entry of requirements for field work related to remove mines and cluster bombs.

The course was organized by the Executive Mine Action Center in the province.
