ISIS terrorist operatives surrender in Bayda

BAYDA, Aug. 16 (YPA) – A number of ISIS operatives surrendered themselves on Sunday to the Yemeni army and the popular committees through one of the sheikhs in Qayfah front in Rada’a district of Bayda province.

Many of the terrorist organization’s operatives surrendered to Sheikh Ahmed Fadl “Abu Sarima”, after their failed attempts to exit safely with all their heavy weapons from Qayfah towards the city of Marib, local sources in the province reported.

The sources indicated that the Yemeni army forces and the popular committees are still imposing a suffocating military siege on ISIS militants, in the areas of Baqarat, Laqah, al-Najd, al-Dhahra and Sarar, days after purging Yakla areas in the Qayfah front of al-Qaeda militants.
