BAYDA, Aug. 14 (YPA) – A number of al-Qaeda leaders were killed by the Yemeni army forces and the popular committees during cleansing Yakla areas in Qayfa front in Rada’a district of Bayda province, local sources reported on Thursday.
The sources said that more than 12 al-Qaeda leaders of different nationalities were killed in the clashes that took place in the Yakla areas between the Yemeni army forces and the terrorist organization elements.
Among the most prominent of the dead were Amir of the terrorist organization in al-Qurishiyah area in Qayfah, called Abu Surima, and leader of the organization’s snipers, the Pakistani “Abu Hafs”, according to the sources.
