Unstable weather to be continued for coming 24 hours

SANAA, Aug. 14 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology announced on Thursday that the weather would continue to be unstable with a chance of rainfall within the next 24 hours.

The center expected in its weather forecast that the uneven rains, accompanied by thunderstorms on parts of the western mountain range from Saada in the north to Lahj and Taiz in the south.

The center indicated that the rains might fall on the southwestern heights of the governorates of Taiz, Lahj and Ibb, and be extended east to parts of the interior plateaus and Shabwa, Mahra and Hadramout provinces, as well as to the western coasts in Taiz and Hodeidah.

Meanwhile, the monsoon winds wound continues around the Socotra Archipelago and the eastern Gulf of Aden, with a speed reaching 40 knots.

The center urged citizens to take the necessary precautions from rock landslides and a decrease of the horizontal visibility due to low clouds and fog in mountainous roads.
